The Battle of the Bridge of Cornellana occurred in 840 between the forces of Ramiro I of Asturias and Nepocian, an usurper. It resulted in Nepocian's defeat.
It occurred by the river Narcea, at a bridge at Cornellana ("Curniana" en Asturian), in Salas.
