Gamini Goonesena

Gamini Goonesena (born February 16, 1931), in Colombo, was a Sri Lankan first-class cricketer prior to his country being granted Test status. A legbreak bowler, he played in 194 games, including matches in England for Cambridge University and Nottinghamshire, as well as a spell with New South Wales in Australia.

In the University match in 1957, he scored 211 for Cambridge against Oxford, the highest score ever for Cambridge in the annual fixture.
