Kissin' George (born
1963 ) was an Americanthoroughbred racehorse, considered America's premier sprinter of the late 1960s. Although he lost toDr. Fager on two occasions when stretching beyond his preferred sixfurlong distance there was no question to his dominance at the sprints. In 1968, he won theSport Page Breeders' Cup Handicap under riderBraulio Baeza .Kissin' George was a chestnut by Slam Ruler out of a Head Play mare called Nothead. Kissin' George was active for two time periods, 1966-1969 and 1973-74.
