The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater St. Louis (most commonly known as simply the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater and previously known as the Riverport Amphitheatre and the UMB Bank Pavilion) is a large outdoor concert venue located at 14141 Riverport Drive, Maryland Heights, Missouri, near St. Louis.
The site was home to the infamous July 2, 1991 riot sparked by Axl Rose during a Guns N' Roses concert during the Use Your Illusion tour.Fact|date=August 2008
