Zalman Grinberg

Zalman Grinberg (September 4, 1912 - August 8, 1983) was a medical doctor who served as the chairman for the Central Committee of Liberated Jews in the American sector of Germany and Austria after World War II.

Grinberg was born in Lithuania and was educated as a medical doctor with a specialty in radiology. He was imprisoned in the concentration camp at Dachau and found himself near the monastery of St. Ottilien when the war ended.
