Ethan Phillips (born February 8, 1955) is an American actor, playwright and author. Biography

Early life

Phillips was born in Garden City, Long Island, New York. He received a bachelor's degree in English literature from Boston University and an MFA from Cornell University.

Career

He authored the play "Penguin Blues", which has been staged around the United States and Canada.
