Universidad Veracruzana (Spanish:"University of Veracruz") a public autonomous
university located in theMexican state ofVeracruz . It was established in 1944. The university maintains campuses across the state, including the school of medicine in Veracruz, and the marine biology research center known as Unidad de Investigacion de Ecología de Pesquerías, in Boca del Rio. The current director of the center, Dra. Patricia Arceo Briseño, is a graduate of theUniversity of Delaware .This university is one of the most important in the south-east region of México and has a good projection in all México.
