Gloria Randle Scott

Gloria Randle Scott (born Gloria Dean on April 14, 1938 in Houston, Texas) is an American educator and the first African-American to head the Girl Scouts of the USA.

She was born and raised in Texas and was the first African-American to get a degree in zoology from Indiana University in 1959 and her Ph.D. in Higher Education also from Indiana in 1965.
