Anna M. Cienciala (November 8 1929-) is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Kansas, [publishing and teaching the history of Poland Russia and Eastern Europe. She formerly taught the same subject matter at the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto. As a member of the Board of Directors of the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences of America, she received the Polish Cross of Merit.
