Keir Nuttall is a
Brisbane guitarist, singer and songwriter. He performs and records in the band of his partnerKate Miller-Heidke , the Brisbane singer-songwriter andSony-BMG artist, as well as in the progressive rock trio Transport.Although
Kate Miller-Heidke 's repertoire consists mainly of her own compositions, she has also recorded or performed some songs written by Keir Nuttall, including her 2004 turntable hit "Space They Cannot Touch " and her 2007 single "Words". Nuttall and Miller-Heidke have also written songs together.As 'Franky Walnut', during Kate Miller-Heidke concerts, Keir Nuttall has often performed his comic songs "Where Have I Been All Your Life?" and "Three Word Review", both of which he has recorded.
Before joining Transport and
Kate Miller-Heidke , Keir Nuttall played in a number ofBrisbane bands, including Complicated Game, experimental rock-funk trio More with Phil Lepherd and Lachlan Stewart (formed in his home town ofToowoomba but relocated toBrisbane ) and 80s covers band Space Invaders.References
