Phil Hardy (journalist)

Phil Hardy is an English film and music industry journalist. He was the founding editor of "Music & Copyright" [http://shop.telecoms.com/marlin/30000000861/MARKT_EFFORT/marketingid/20001128397?proceed=true&MarEntityId=1174173498950&entHash=1005ebd6be0] , a bi-weekly journal offering news and analysis on the music industry. He has written or edited several books on music and film, including "Samuel Fuller" (1970), "The Faber Companion to 20th Century Popular Music" (1990), and "The BFI Companion to Crime" (1997). He is also the chief editor and contributing writer of the "The Aurum Film Encyclopedia".
