Johann Hurlinger was an Austrian man who walked on his hands from Paris to Vienna in 1900. Hurlinger walked on his hands 10 hours a day for 55 days. [ [http://www.odd-info.com/misc.htm Amazing but True, OWL; Price Stern Sloan, CA 1987] ] He averaged 1.58 miles per hour and traversed 870 miles.
