- William B. Preston (Mormon)
William Bowker Preston (24 November 1830—2 August 1908) was the fourth Presiding Bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) between 1884 and 1907.
Born in Franklin County, Virginia, Preston was called to be the Presiding Bishop by Church President John Taylor on 6 April 1884. He served until ill health forced him to resign his position on 11 December 1907. He died of pneumonia [ [http://images.archives.utah.gov/data/81448/2229318/2229318_0001180.jpgState of Utah Death Certificate] ] in Salt Lake City, Utah and was buried there.
