Watershed College

Watershed College is a Private School situated in a pastoral setting near the town of Marondera in Zimbabwe. The College aims to provide an excellent all-round secondary education for girls and boys between the ages of 13 and 19, which assists them to develop their talents and prepares them to become socially well integrated individuals.

Watershed is predominantly a full boarding school. It has spaces in the hostels for 480 children, divided equally between boys and girls. A small number of students are day –scholar students who are mostly children of our staff.

It is a full boarding school, committed to the all-round development of its students.It offers extensive academic, cultural, sporting and spiritual programmes.

History Of the School

The school opened in 1987. Most of the children in the beginning were drawn from surrounding farming communities. In later years our students have been drawn predominantly from Harare. The first few months of the school were difficult in that there were very few facilities. The first intake had 87 children with eight teachers including the headmaster.
