Bubenholz Tunnel

The Bubenholz Tunnel is a motorway tunnel in Switzerland, and forms part of the A51 motorway around Zurich Airport.

The tunnel is around 600 metres long.

The tunnel replaces several overpasses which existed until the early 2000s. It is also supposed to cut noise from the motorway away from the nearby towns of Glattbrugg and Opfikon.

As of 2004, the tunnel is only partially complete and only portions of the tunnel are open to traffic.
