Cardigan Connor

Cardigan Adolphus Connor (born March 24, 1961 in Anguilla) is a former English first-class cricketer for Hampshire County Cricket Club. A right-arm fast-medium bowler and right-handed tail-end batsman, he took over 1,000 wickets in all competitions for Hampshire.

Connor was the opening bowling partner of West Indies legend Malcolm Marshall for much of his time at Hampshire. He took his career best figures of 9 for 38 aged 35.

After retiring from cricket, he was Anguilla's 'chef de mission' (team manager) at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester in 2002.
