722nd Ordnance Company (United States)

The 722nd Ordnance Company is an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) company located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The unit was reassigned in early 2007 from Anniston Army Depot to Fort Bragg as part of the newly formed 192d Ordnance Battalion (EOD).

*Activated 7 May 1944 in Italy
*Reorganized and redesignated 1 January 1945 as the 142d Ordnance Service Detachment
*Redesignated 8 April 1945 as the 142d Ordnance Bomb Disposal Squad
*Inactivated 25 January 1946 in the Philippine Islands
*Redesignated 31 August 1951 as the 142d Explosive Ordnance Disposal Squad and allotted to the Regular Army
*Activated 17 March 1952 at Raritan Arsenal, New Jersey
*Reorganized and redesignated 25 June 1954 as the 142d Ordnance Detachment
*Reorganized and redesignated 16 June 1997 as the 722d Ordnance Company
