SEC Women's Basketball Tournament

The SEC Women's Basketball Tournament (sometimes known simply as the SEC Tournament) is the conference championship tournament in women's basketball for the Southeastern Conference (SEC). It is a single-elimination tournament and seeding is based on regular season records. The winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA women's basketball tournament.

The tournament is a seeded, single elimination tournament involving all league schools (currently 12). The top four teams in the conference receive byes in the first round, while #5 plays #12, #6 plays #11, #7 plays #10, and #8 plays #9. The winners of the first round games move on to face one of the top 4 seeds in the normal pairings of 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, and 4-5.

The tournament has been held since 1980.
