Rafael Luiz Bauml Tesser

Rafael Luiz Bauml Tesser (born on May 16, 1981 in Curitiba, Brazil), better known as Tesser, is a Brazilian football defender who, as of August 2007, is playing for Italian side Taranto Sport on loan from Brazilian club Ituano FC.

Career

He began his professional career playing with Tarmandaré in 2000. From 2001 to 2003 he was at Coritiba and in 2003-2004 he spent some months in Georgia with FC Dinamo Tbilisi. Once back to Brazil, he played for Atlético Mineiro, Joinville Esporte Clube and Ituano FC of Brazilian second division. During January 2007 transfer window he joined Italian Serie B team US Lecce on loan and came back to Ituano FC in June. Ituano then sent him on loan to Taranto Sport. Tesser was on a tryout at Serbian Red Star Belgrade which is managed by his former coach at US Lecce, Zdenek Zeman, but he didn't pass tryout at Serbian Red Star Belgrade
