Garwood Glacier

Garwood Glacier (coord|78|1|S|163|57|E|type:glacier_region:AQ|display=inline,title) is a glacier occupying the northwest part of Garwood Valley, in Victoria Land. It was first mapped by the "Discovery" expedition (1901-04), but not named until 1911, when it was named by Taylor of the British Antarctic Expedition (1910-13) for Edmund J. Garwood, professor of geology and mineralogy at the University of London.
