- Skarshaugane Peaks
Skarshaugane Peaks (coord|71|49|S|11|37|E|) is a group of peaks including
Mount Skarshovden that extend south for 3 miles (4.8 km) fromHovdeskar Gap , in theHumboldt Mountains ofQueen Maud Land . They were discovered and photographed by theGerman Antarctic Expedition , 1938-39, mapped by Norway from air photos and surveys byNorwegian Antarctic Expedition , 1956-60, and named Skarshaugane ("the gap peaks").
