Skarshaugane Peaks

Skarshaugane Peaks (coord|71|49|S|11|37|E|) is a group of peaks including Mount Skarshovden that extend south for 3 miles (4.8 km) from Hovdeskar Gap, in the Humboldt Mountains of Queen Maud Land. They were discovered and photographed by the German Antarctic Expedition, 1938-39, mapped by Norway from air photos and surveys by Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1956-60, and named Skarshaugane ("the gap peaks").
