Namadari

This community is mainly found in North Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra. They are of similar race that of ezhavas of kerala,Gouds of Andhra Pradesh, edigas and billavas of karanataka, and nadar caste of Tamil Nadu. They are basically into toddy shopping, brewing arrack etc. However they were warriors of many kingdoms in central India.
