August 20 ,1955 ) is a U.S. writer and sex therapist based inAthens, Georgia . She has a PhD and MPH in Human Sexuality, and an M.A. in English literature. She is a licensed clinicalsexologist . Her sex therapy practice specializes in consensualBDSM andsexual fetishism and sexual dysfunction. She is also a lifestyle dominant.A poet, blogger, writer and journalist, Brame is best known for two notable sex books: "" and the more recent "Come Hither: A Commonsense Guide To Kinky Sex". The latter book was selected as the "official guide to kinky sex" by the
