Lankalakoderu is a railway station located on the Bhimavaram-Narasapur branch line.

It is a village in West Godavari District. It is exactly 4 km away from Palakol. So many engineers and doctors were produced from this village. Now a days it is more like a small town.

They have donated lot of land for the government school which is one of the oldest Zilla parishad schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh.It is well known and documented that "SAYYAPARAJU SURYANARAYANA RAJU"," SAYYAPARAJU BANDA VENKATARAJU" and "SAYYAPARAJU RAMA RAJU" were all three brothers and good “ustads” or reputed wrestlers of their time. It is rumoured that they were men of immense strength and wellbeing.
