The French football champions are the winners of the highest league of football in France. Since its inauguration in 1932, the title has been contested through the professional Ligue 1 championship. Before the beginning of the professional championship, two federations had organised amateuring championships : the USFSA (1894-1919) and the FFF (1927-1929)
