- Shlyapa Volshebnika
"Shlyapa Volshebnika" (Russian: Шляпа волшебника, Literally: "Magician's Hat") was a series of three short films produced by
Sverdlovsktelefilm in1980 ,1981 and1983 in theUSSR , based on the bookFinn Family Moomintroll , which was one of theMoomin books by Finnish illustrator and writerTove Jansson .The series made with
cutout animation and unfortunately the main characters were unnecessarily re-designed by the Russian animators - giving Moomintroll dungarees and hair, Snufkin a beak, and Moominpappa sideburns and a pipe! The films were produced in colour and made using 2D animation. Outside ofRussia the series has been little-seen.Fact|date=December 2007.The Films
