"The Purple Bottle" is the second single from Animal Collective's 2005 album, "Feels". The "Stevie Wonder" mix of the title song features a verse taken from Stevie Wonder's song "I Just Called to Say I Love You," which can be heard best after the 2:30 mark. This was intended to be the album version, but copyright issues prevented its release as such. Consequently, the single was only released in a white label vinyl format, with 500 copies printed.

The B-side "Polly" is from a live BBC Radio 1 "Breezeblock Session" on 2004/04/26, the whole set is freely available at Collected Animals [http://animalcollectin.6.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=309] [http://rerz.net/ac/messages/viewtopic.php?t=6231] [http://www.bansheebeat.com/ac.html] (the official Animal Collective message board).
