- Durham Flames
-
The Durham Flames were a soccer team playing in the Canadian Professional Soccer League between 1999–2003, for 1999 and 2000 as the Oshawa Flames.
The franchise participated in the league and developed many outstanding players[peacock term] that included Jimmy Kuzmanovski, Stevie Gill and top scorer Omar El-Behairy in 2001. After a number of hard fought seasons, the club folded in 2003.
