Ottawa Wizards was a soccer team playing in the Canadian Professional Soccer League.
History
The team won three consecutive regular season championships from 2001 to 2003, and took the Rogers Cup once in 2002 with the Turkish head coach Rasim Kara.
Despite the on-field successes, however, the franchise were revoked by the league after the 2003 campaign, when they actually finished the regular season unbeaten (with 13 wins & 5 draws from 18 fixtures).
The president is Ömür M. Sezerman. He is a Turkish Canadian.
