Leib Tropper

Rabbi Leib (Leibel) Tropper is the Rosh yeshiva and founder of the Kol Yaakov Yeshiva and Torah Center in Monsey, New York. He was born in Flatbush, Brooklyn. He is the son of Rabbi Yehuda Tropper and a distant cousin of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach.

Before founding Kol Yaakov, Rabbi Tropper taught at Shema Yisrael Yeshiva and Ohr Somayach yeshiva in Jerusalem. He was one of the founding rabbis at Ohr Somayach, Monsey.
