South Hadley High School is a secondary school in South Hadley, Massachusetts for students in grades 9–12. The school has a student population of just over 700. Mr. Dan Smith is the current principal. The school's name is frequently referred to as "SHHS".

Marching Band

The South Hadley Tiger Pride Marching Band is a Division 1A Marching Band in USSBA Rules. South Hadley has been awarded Best Percussion in the last 3 years. The Marching Band is directed by Jeremy Wardwell. Senior Drum Major Dan Dubuc and Junior Drum Major Taylor Sodano. Their show this year is Witches and Warlocks. Songs include No One Mourns the Wicked from the Broadway Musical, Wicked, Hut of Baba Yaga from Pictures at an Exhibition, Harry Potter Medley from the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and Night on Bald Mountain from Fantasia.

Harlequins

Harlequins is South Hadley High School's drama club. It is directed by Mrs. Curtis and Ms. Pritchard. The president is Lindsey Flemma. Harlequins holds a one act competition every year in October. Every winter Harlequins produces a musical. This year's musical is Newsies. The spring production as of now is unknown.

Athletics

South Hadley is a Massachusetts Division II school. It is the smallest of the 82 Division II schools in the state. South Hadley is known for its competitive athletic program which continually wins Western Mass titles. In 2004, The Boys varsity Lacrosse team won the state Championship. In 2005 the football team won the Division IA Super Bowl. South Hadley High's basketball fans, the 6th Man group, are very active, showing support at every game. In 2007 and 2008 the Boys and Girls Swim Team won the title of Western Mass Division Champions. In 2008 they went undefeated with a 14-0 record.
