The Courier & Advertiser, more commonly known as simply "The Courier", is a broadsheet newspaper published by DC Thomson in Dundee, Scotland. It is printed in six daily editions: the Early edition, and regional editions for Fife, north-east Fife, Perth, Angus and Dundee.

Established in 1801 as the "Dundee Courier & Argus", the entire front page of "The Courier" used to contain classified advertisements - a traditional newspaper format for many years. As one of the UK's biggest selling morning regional newspapers [http://www.abc.org.uk/cgi-bin/gen5?runprog=nav/abc&noc=y] with daily circulation of around 80,000, [http://www.abc.org.uk/cgi-bin/gen5?runprog=nav/abc&noc=y] "The Courier" was unusual in maintaining this format until 1992, when it adopted a conventional headline-news format.
