"Sex Pistols" is a box set anthology of the career of the punk rock band Sex Pistols. It was released in June 2002. The set comprises three themed CDs and an 80-page booklet [cite web|url=http://www.philjens.plus.com/pistols/pistols/pistols_album_information.htm|title=Box Set sleeve notes|accessdate=2008-08-17] .

The first disc features complete album "Never Mind the Bollocks", four B-sides, and the band's first demo session.

The second disc has demos and studio outtakes, from July 1976 to January 1977 and from the Never Mind the Bollocks sessions. Most, but not nearly all, known reject Sex Pistols material is featured here.

The third disc, composed of previously unreleased live tracks, is almost completely made up with an August 31, 1976 gig at Islington Screen on the Green Cinema. Live bonus tracks feature the unrecorded "Understanding" and "Flowers of Romance", and also the legendary live performance of "Belsen Was A Gas".

Completeness

The box set includes almost the entire recorded output of the band; missing are ten additional demos and two Cook–Jones songs whose attribution to Sex Pistols is debatable.

Eight of the ten missing demos can be found on the bootleg "Spunk". All 10 tracks are featured on official and expanded release of the bootleg Spunk / This is Crap, released in 1996 by Virgin Records.

Also missing are the two Cook/Jones single tracks "Black Leather" and "Here We Go Again", recorded for "The Great Rock'n'Roll Swindle" soundtrack album but not appearing on it, while two other tracks from the same Cook/Jones sessions, "Lonely Boy" and "Silly Thing", were included on the soundtrack album. These tracks, while generally not considered Sex Pistols tracks, have occasionally been released on other Sex Pistols compilations, most notably on the Japanese 1979 Nippon Columbia Records release "The Very Best Of Sex Pistols, And We Don't Care" [cite web|url=http://www.cookandjones.co.uk/swindle_part2.htm|title=Cook and Jones official website|accessdate=2007-10-10] and as part of the 1980 Virgin Records singles compilation "Pistols Pack" [cite web|url=http://www.murodelrock.com/il_muro_del_rock/enciclopedia_rock/elenco_artisti/s/sex_pistols/discografia/discografia_sex_pistols.htm|title=Pistols Pack info page|accessdate=2008-08-17] , a six-pocketed release consisting of six 7-inch 45 RPM vinyl singles.
