Jonathan Siason

Jonathan Jimena Siason is a 26-year-old Filipino writer who hails from Zamboanga City. He is currently finishing his MFA degree in Creative Writing at the De La Salle University-Manila. His stories have seen print in national publications like "Philippine Graphic" and the "Philippines Free Press", as well as reputable anthologies which include "Malate", "Dapitan", "The Literary Apprentice", "Heartbreak: Love Stories", "Bul-Ol: Stories for Children", and "Philippine Speculative Fiction Volume 2" edited by Dean Francis Alfar. In 2006, he was shortlisted for the Romeo Forbes Prize for Children's Literature.

Jonathan Jimena Siason is a part-time college professor at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
