Perry Lynn Anderson (born October 14, 1961 in Barrie, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played ten seasons in the National Hockey League with the St. Louis Blues, New Jersey Devils and San Jose Sharks, and was also a part of the OHA-C, OMJHL, CHL, AHL and the IHL, where he ended his career with the Salt Lake Golden Eagles.cite web|url=http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/usage.php3?pid=71|title=Perry Anderson Career Stats|publisher=hockeydb.com|accessdate=2007-03-05|year=1994] Anderson was best known for his goon-like style of play and his time spent in the penalty box. In 23 seasons and 400 games played, he averaged over 2.6 penalty minutes a game. He also holds the Devils' franchise record for most penalty minutes in a playoff season with 113 in 1987-88.
