Clay Oliver Hill, born October 1, 1953 in Rochelle, IL and residing in Orlando, FL as of 2004[update], was the Populist Democratic Viking Party challenger in the 2004 United States presidential election. He has run for various political positions, including campaigns for the House of Representatives in 1998 and 2000, also taking part in the 2000 presidential election primaries.
He is a farmer, and a member of the Hans Nelson Aswye branch of Lutheranism.
Little is known about Hill's presidential campaign. He has shown unusual disdain for the National Political Awareness Test, declining to state his position on any issue. Elsewhere, he has indicated strong opposition to excess political power, the war in Iraq, and adjunct cronyism. He is a firm supporter of women's right to abortion.
