Edinburgh based hip hop group repped just about every spot in the city and further a field, fromLeicester toLondon . For two Years Kulu's Jazz joint (Henry's Cellar Bar) was the HQ for some of the most memorable of nights.As time elapsed, Scotland Yard Emcees became Yard Emcees, and continued to carry the torch, culminating in the
Dazed and Confused / Topshop award for music 2003 and the release of their second E.p STREETZ throughOne Little Indian . After hitting up London's pirate and capital radio stations, and blazing the notorious Deal Real session withBlack Eyed Peas . As fate would have it, this was to be the final swansong as Yard Emcees, as life and evolution dictated they go their separate ways.In recent years MC Profisee, alongside DJ/Producer Vigilante, has released an EP with his new project Great Ezcape, as well as still pursuing other solo projects. Profisee also appeared on two tracks from
Hexstatic 's 2007 album, "When Robots Go Bad ".Mr Jinx and producer Seanie B have released an EP under the name Scotland Yard and are working on new projects for their new records label Dropzone Records.Necaras has returned toLondon and is currently working on new material. Big Stoo currently lives and works in Japan, pursuing a career inMixed martial arts .Discography
