*Kalingapatnam village is a beach resort in Gara mandal and also meeting place of River Vamsadhara to Bay of Bengal. Kalingapatnam is one of the closest beaches to Srikakulam town.

*Salihundam is an ancient buddhist pilgrimage centre.
*Srikurmam is famous Kurmanadha Temple.
*There is a post office at Gara.
*Tulug is a village with 100 population and there is no power . the education % is only 10% . Now it is in development stage where people are showing interest to steady but there is no support for them.
*Famous Kanaka Durga(Konnamma)Temple is located at Korni village.The festival of Dasara for Konnamma is celebrated here every year and special pujas are performed. A large number of pilgrims attend the colourful celebrations.
