Richard Side

Richard Side is a Vancouver based actor, writer and producer whose screen acting credits include The Delicate Art of Parking and Elf (film). Side is a comedian specializing in improvisational comedy. He won an improv comedy championship at the Just for Laughs festival performing with Vancouver Theatresports.

Richard co-adapted Kenneth Oppel's novel Silverwing into a thirteen part animated series for Teletoon. Other writing credits include episodes of .

Richard Side is the creator and producer of The Debaters a radio comedy series on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

Side also co-starred in the Disney Channel Film Halloweentown II Kalabar's Revenge. He played the voice of Benny who is a dead talking skeleton. He gets cursed with the gray spell after Kalabar's son Kal puts it on all of Halloweentown. Benny was in the first Halloweentown but he was voiced by a different actor.
