A bird lands on Tom, then Tom wakes up. The bird wipes the fur off. When the
helmet -wearing bird walks off, Tom gets in the way, but the bird pushes Tom's legs open to go through. Angry, Tom starts attacking the same bird.Jerry is woken up, so he takes action. He takes a ball of
yarn and asaw . Then after setting a trap, he saws thetelephone pole and tips it. To make things much worse for Tom, Jerry and the bird put a bucket there for Tom to land in; below the bucket are some plants, which the bird sets on fire to heat the water after hose water is in it. When the bird loosens the knot enough, Tom crashes into the bucket, then screams. Afterwards, Tom suddenly bounces out of the bucket away, then back, with no fur from the waist down! From there, the bird and Jerry laugh at Tom.Angry, after all his fur is back, Tom grabs the hose and chases Jerry and the bird, who take shelter in the mousehole. With the mousehole being flooded, and Tom laughing, Jerry and the bird stop the hose with a mousetrap.
A giant glob of
water forms in the hose, which is too much water for the plumbing to handle.The bird pecks the glob, causing the hose to explode violently.Tom is then tied up in the hose and the mousetrap is caught on his right foot. Tom once again attempts to catch the bird, but gets hurt on his feet on the wire. The bird cuts the wire, then Tom falls into a
wheelbarrow and into ashed . Tom then dresses himself as a giant monster bird. He climbs up the tree, then attempts to finally get the bird, but Jerry turns on a fan, and Tom loses his balance, falls off and bounces away.Tom later returns to the shed with a box with DANGER written on it. He aims a cannon out from the
cellar to shoot the bird. Jerry senses that the bird is in danger, so he drills a hole in the bullet and puts Tom's tail in it and ties a knot. Tom lights up the cannon and excited, laughs. But when the cannon blasts, Tom crashes into a tree.Tom is thinking of what to do. He sees Jerry and the bird enjoying themselves. He decides to do to them what they did to him, only worse. He scorches a pile of plants, gets out a
lawnmower andchristmas lights , and cuts the grass for a while.Tom lands on a tree branch where Jerry and the bird are, then the bird puts a "Via Air Mail" sticker on Tom's face, then the bird kisses Tom.
