Shubham Prakhar

Shubham Prakhar, a native of Muzaffarpur, in Bihar, India, was selected India's Child Genius in a nation-wide competition. After winning from the Eastern Zone, he triumphed all other zones to emerge victorious and be crowned the India's Child Genius. He is currently studying at one of India's best schools, Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, New Delhi. - -

Family life

- Shubham's parents are privately employed. His mother is educated in Ukraine. Shubham spent his early childhood studying in one of Bihar's most lawless cities, Muzaffarpur. Nevertheless, he is proud of his home state. In 2004, Shubham applied to India's Child Genius hosted by Mr. Siddhartha Basu, India's greatest quizmaster, broadcast by Star India. As Mr. Basu revealed, Shubham topped the written examination by a wide margin. He went on the win most of his rounds on television. On winning, he took home an amount of Rs. 1 million, and became an overnight star. - -

chool Life

- Shubham immediately changed his school from DAV Muzaffarpur to DPS R.K. Puram. He in currently in class 12th, having appeared for his CBSE 'Boards' Examination in 2007(as the high school examination is known in India). Despite living far from his parents, he is very determined and has won several other competitions in Delhi.He also represents his school in various prestigious quizzes and has won many of them. He got selected for the JSTSE (Junior Science Talent Search Examination) and secured the third rank in the final round (Delhi region only) and the NTSE (National Science Talent Search Examination), the most prestigious school examination in India. He also got AIR-13 in the National Science Olympiad and got 97.3% in the Class X boards(CBSE) =References= =References=
