He was born in Cote D'Ivoire of Sierra Leone parents. He moved on August 19, 2008 from R.S.C. Anderlecht to Le Mans UC for £2.76 million. In the season 2007 / 2008 played for Roda JC on loan from R.S.C. Anderlecht.
