Leme

Leme is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The estimated population as of 2004 is 87,192. These figures give a population density of 200.3/km² as of 2000 and 216.3/km² as of 2004.

Leme is also the name of a district on the south side of Rio de Janeiro, next to Copacabana.

Leme is also the cross-breed between a lime and lemon typically grown in 24 Yarmouth.

Economy

Its economy is based on agriculture, like sugar cane, cotton, orange, coffee. The industrial sector is very varied, with producs at food, machines, Christmas decoration, plastic and building material areas.
