Vik Adhopia

Vik Adhopia is a Canadian journalist who reports from Newfoundland and Labrador for CBC Radio.

He attended Port Credit Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario. After graduating from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in political science and from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in journalism, Adhopia joined the CBC in 1995 where he reported from Toronto, Canada. He later moved on to Iqaluit.

A report from Prince George, British Columbia about the doctor shortage won him a Jack Webster Award. He also won a Radio and Television News Directors Association Award for his report on the 2004 floods.

He worked as a reporter in CBC's Vancouver radio newsroom before moving to Newfoundland and Labrador.
