Max Normal.TV are a South African hip-hop crew. They perform live wearing 3 piece suits while frontman MaxNormal delivers his motivational speaking style raps to the audience. Max also illustrates all his lyrics to help the audience follow. These images are projected onto a big screen above the live performers and are triggered live to the beat by Max's personal assistant, Yolandi Visser. The Max Normal.TV live shows work like high-energy hip-hop power point presentation, perfect for the club, concert or boardroom.

Through the eyes of the public, Max Normal and associates are God-sent beings, blessed with the knowledge to make things better and educate their children with their uplifting, high-energy music, but behingd the scenes each member of the crew has problems of their own. We begin to discover the deep, dark secrets each one of them try desperately to conceal behind their star-lit masks.

A South African soap-opera based on the lives of a world famous hip-hop crew called Max Normal.TV. On the surface Max Normal and associates are living the high life, flying around the world. rocking mega-stadiums, getting real paid. Their faces grace the covers of all the magazines, their music videos are all over the TV and the internet. Max Normal's music, movies and merchandise are everywhere. When Max Normal and his dynamic team aren't flying around the globe educating and entertaining the masses, you will find them hard at work inside Maxcorp headquarters, preparing the next phase of their mission. Max corp headquarters are situated directly below and old, futuristic looking Afrikaans building called the Taal Monument.

The Max Normal.TV motto "CONCEIVE, BELIEVE, ACHIEVE", has inspired millions of people to do their best and never give up, but behind the scenes, things are not always as they seem...

Max Normal is a deeply religious man. Not a religious man formed and bound to the religion of any known institution, but a man built by the bricks of his own belief. Many people look to Max as a leader and a guide, but Max has problems of his own. We discover that he is unhappily married. His wife suffers from manic depression. Max has helped many young people with his inspirational music but he can't help his own wife. Max finds comfort in his personal assistant, Yolandi Visser. However, their reationship is beginning to get dangerously close.

Yolandi Visser is a very keen young girl with a zest for life. Although she is very professional, Yolandi also enjoys having fun. Besides her full-time job working as Max's personal assistant, she also writes romance novels. She has published 3 novels to date which are all doing very well. Yolandi has a wild imagination and likes to think up strange erotic fantasies. Her boyfriend is the jealous type and he is certain that Yolandi has cheated on him several times although he cannot prove it. Justin Denobrega is hardworking, very focused, and always does the right thing. He has a perfect track record and has never missed a deadline or been late for work in his life. Justin is a guy everyone knows they can count on. Secretly Justin feels like he is going to explode. He can't explain it in words, but it feels like there is some kind of ominous force building up inside him. Justin tries his best to lead a disciplined life in order to keep this force at bay. He is very afraid of what might happen if this force is unleashed.

Jakob Basson is the wildcard at Maxcorp. Jakob enjoys the lime-light and is often seen with a beautiful girl or two hanging off his arm. He comes across very confident in interviews and likes to think of himself as an authority on fashion, furniture and females. However in reality, Jakob still lives with his mom. He often feels misunderstood and insecure. His frustration often leads to destructive, impulsive actions, that end up getting him into big trouble.

Brad Armitage is a confident, charming smooth operator with boy band looks. Girls get weak at the knees when they meet him, and are ready to leave everything and run away with him at the drop of a hat. However, Brad is not concerned with such earthly desires. He is on a bigger mission, a mission from God. We discover that Brad is actually an angel who has been sent to earth to turn MaxNormal.TV into the most popular show on the planet. This show has an important role to play in the final battle between Heaven and Hell.
