The Tytheus river begins in the east of the
Erymanthos mountains, it passes through the municipalities ofTritaia and into Fares. It empties into thePeiros where in the tributary is constructing a new dam which will be located betweenChafkali and Toskos and will be known as thePeiros-Parapeiros Dam or Peiros Perapeiros-Dam in which will bring electricity toPatras and the nearbyPatras Industrial Area .ources
