Peter James Forrest (born November 15, 1985, in Windsor, New South Wales) is a professional Australian cricketer who currently plays for the New South Wales Blues. With a rookie contract in the 2006-07 season, Forrest made his first-class debut for New South Wales against Queensland on March 1, 2007. In this match he scored an impressive 40 in the first innings and remained unbeaten on 5 in the second innings. After solid performances in early Pura Cup games, outstanding results in the Cricket Australia Cup and notable consistency for Hawkesbury in Grade Cricket, Forrest received his first full contract for New South Wales ahead of the 2007-08 season.
