Chelmos Observatory

The Chelmos Observatory (Greek: Αστεροσκοπείο Χελμού, Asteroskopeiou Chelmou or -Helmou) is an observatory located at the foot of the mountaintop of mount Chelmos or Aroania. The observatory was completed and first opened in 2001, located next to the Chelmos Ski Center and is in a rocky setting. It features telescopes and equipments including one manufactured by a German company Zeiss. With the finance from the universities of Patras and Manchester. It features telescopic cameras and scientific organs. It functions in the night sky.
