Alex Calvo-Garcia (born
1 January ,1972 inOrdizia ,Spain ) is a retired professional footballer, who was best remembered for his time as amidfielder forScunthorpe United . On29 May ,1999 , it was his goal in the play-off final against Leyton Orient that secured Scunthorpe promotion to the then-titled Second Division.He joined Scunthorpe from
SD Eibar in 1996.
