Kęstutis Latoža

Kęstutis Latoža

Kęstutis Latoža is a Lithuanian football manager.

After representing his country 76 times as a player, he retired and began a career in coaching. His notable appointments were as Head Coach of the Lithuania national football team and as a club manager in the Faroe Islands, where he was infamous for managing a team to defeat by fifteen goals. He has since been in charge of FK Vilnius of Lithuania, but left in 2006 after a poor spell of results.

Due to his links with the Romanov family, he has been consistently linked with a move to Heart of Midlothian F.C. whose owner is Vladimir Romanov. Latoža's sister, Ludmilla is married to a cousin of Romanov. Increased speculation in February 2007 suggested he would be named manager of Hearts in the near future, with current manager Valdas Ivanauskas likely to become Director of Football.

Latoža's biggest defeat was 15-0 in the Faroe Islands.Fact|date=April 2007
